We last talked about the importance of having a daily morning skincare routine here but it is also super important to remember your nightly skincare routine.
The Importance of a Nightly Skincare Routine
“Why should I have two different routines?” you may ask. Well, each routine is catered to the different needs of your skin based on the time of day.
Morning routines need to protect the skin from the day’s activities and exposures while a night routine helps repair any damage and refresh your skin while you sleep.
Recommended Nightly Routine for Dry Skin
For dry skin we recommend the following regimen:
Step 1: Cleanse
First, begin with a hydrating cleanser such as our Complexion Soap with AHA. It gently removes the dead skin cells while promoting collagen formation, revealing smooth healthy skin underneath. It is extremely moisturizing, which is perfect for dry skin. For normal to oily skin, our Platinum Complexion Soap works wonders.
Step 2: Disinfect
Apply a toner with a cotton ball focusing on your T-Zone. The toner further cleanses the skin, resulting in 100% clean skin void of dirt, sweat, and bacteria. We offer three different toners. Each toner is featured in a different skin care line that addresses a variety of skin issues. Skin type issues vary so we created plenty of different line such as out our Lemon, Anti-Aging, and Sensitive skin care lines.
Step 3: Treat
Next up is the application of any skin care treatments such as dark spot serums, acne treatments or under eye creams. We offer two different skin serums our Platinum Skin Lightening Serum and our Lemon Serum. Both products help fade away dark circles, spots, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars to achieve a clear even complexion.
Step 4: Moisturize
Lastly, we recommend using a light moisturizing lotion or a light face oil such as our Specialist Skincare Oil, to seal in moisture. This oil is infused with Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Oil, and Rosemary Oil for an amazing scent and light weight feel. Your skin will drink it up while staying hydrated throughout the night!
